Connection fails to complete when attempting to login to MIP through portal.mip.com on a Windows 11 machine

After applying a windows update to a computer running Microsoft Windows 11, the RDP connection to abilaonline appears to connect but never moves beyond “Configuring remote session” requiring the user to use Task Manager to end the mstsc.exe to close the window.
