In order to improve functionality Aatrix requires the installation of several Microsoft C++ components as of Fall 2017. There are multiple issues that can arise with installing these components.
Scenarios include:
Downloading the automatic update stalls or fail on the Prerequisites portion of the update
Running the update appears to install the C++ Components. But when you go back it still wants to install the C++ components.
Looping in Aatrix that references the C++ components.
NOTE: You MUST be a local Administrator in windows to install updates.
Software produces the following error:
Excel cannot open the file ‘XXXXX’ because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file.
When attempting to export any GL type report using the XL button, the software crashes producing a “Abila MIP Accounting Application has stopped working” error message.
In HR after adding an optional Credential Field Title with a forward slash the following error ‘dg2_InitiliazeLayout: String must be exactly one character long’ is produced.
After removing the filter ‘Vendor Issue 1099’ from the Cash Journal, the report returns the following error;
‘Cannot insert the value NULL into column ‘Player ID’, ‘tempdb.dbl#Tmp____00000000003F’;column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails. The statement has been terminated
Renaming a User ID in MIP, that is setup for HR access, is unable to access HR after the rename process. The message ‘User not found’ is displayed even though that user ID is displayed in Maintain> User Security with appropriate User Level Access in HR.
MIP closes unexpectedly when using the Copy and Paste function in the description field with the message ‘Abila MIP Account Application has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program.”
When using the Default Format -Check 21 Extended, the check amount is printing as a numeric amount rather than a formatted amount. For example, the amount is printing as 7805.55 rather than $7.805.55.
Message ‘Unable to connect to SQL Server: “543018-ECSQLDB1\\ECSQLDB1”
Please verify that the SQL Server: “543018-ECSQLDB1\\ECSQLDB1” is running, and the SQL Browser Service is started.
NpsSMOError Database ‘DB NAME’ is already open and can only have one user at a time.’ when launching Accounting.
(Note: the referenced DB is not the DB the user is attempting to login to)
Adding a ‘Final Approval’ E-Req to a Purchase Order, then returning to E-req and editing/modifying the E-Req results in duplicate E-Req’s with different status’s.
