I am attempting to use the new bank feed feature, but it is not available when I go into Bank Rec and the Connect to Financial Institution Tab is Missing from Module Setup.

Cause

If the connect to Financial Institution information is missing it is because your MIP UserID has not been granted rights. To access this feature, you must be granted rights.
 
By default, when the feature was added NOBODY has rights to it. This includes accounts that are the “Admin” users that have been granted all rights. Rights must be changed to have access; nobody has access by default.

Resolution

To correct this, do the following:
 

  1. Have an account with the ability to administer security log in and go to Administration>Manage Users.

  2. Select your UserID by clicking on the User and then click on the User Rights Tab.

  3. Scroll to the Bottom and expand the Administration Section. 

  4. Scroll down and look for Module Setup>Connect to Financial Institution. Check all the boxes and save. 

  5. You must log out and log back in for these changes to take effect.

Once rights have been updated got to Administration>Organization>Modules Setup and Connect to Financial Institution will be available.
