Answer

Symptom:  Newly added user cannot see transactions, saved reports that other users in the organization can.
 
Cause: The most common cause is that the user is logged into another Org/Database, for example the NTO training database that comes with MIP.
 
In the Classic UI or On-Prem versions, look closely at the Title bar of the MIP Window.  If it says “Accounting for NPS Training Organization…” or something other than your Organization’s name, then they are logged into the wrong database.
 
 
Resolution: Have the user change databases.


In the Classic UI (or On-Prem version) either

  1. Exit MIP and login to the correct Organization; or

  2. Navigate to menu >File>Open Organization and from the “Select an Organization” menu, choose the correct Organization/Database to login to.
