With the Advanced Security Module, advanced auditing capabilities are available. Once Record Types are identified and enabled -- the system records detailed information regarding new, changed or deleted entries.
 
Setting up Advanced Auditing:

  1. Navigate to Administration>System> Audit Trails

  2. Click Set Up Advanced Organization Audit

  3. Select the applicable Record types that need to be audited for your organization

  4. Save

 
Running Advanced Organization Audit Trail

  1. Navigate to Administration>System> Audit Trails

  2. Click Advanced Organization Audit

  3. A report populates with detailed information regarding new, changed or deleted entries for the record types selected.

Additional Information

For information to display in the Advanced Organization Audit Trail, Record Types must be selected for auditing. Only after those selections have been made will the system begin to collect detailed information showing what was added, changed (before and after),  and who (and when) made the change.
