Symptom
Starting with Tax year 2021 when doing a 1099 with Pennsylvania as the filing state you may be required to enter a first and last name for every vendor with that filing state.
Cause
This is a new requirement from the state of Pennsylvania. If the filing state is PA and the Vendors Tax ID number is a Social Security number, then the state is requiring first and last name to complete efiling.
Resolution
If you are efiling this information is required. This information is not stored in MIP or passed to Aatrix so there is no way to have it pull into the Aatrix grid. You will have to manually enter the information into the Aatrix grid record by record.
