Symptom
When saving changes in EWS System Settings, the following message is displayed:
Cause
Running EWS System Settings without administrator privledges.
Resolution
Right click on SystemSettings.exe and select Run as Administrator (Note: You may need to do Shift + Right Click to see the Run As Administor option)
Or
Instead of launching using the shortcut, browse to c:\inetpub\wwwroot\EWS\SystemMaintenance and right click on SystemSettings.exe to run as administrator.

The message is the result of enhanced security included in Windows Server 2012 R2 and beyond
