When saving a Leave Entry in EWS, the user receives an error message stating that the entry is incomplete and missing a Wage code although a wage code was selected in the dropdown menu.
The earnings/wage code in the Employee Information is not selected for use with Leave entries.
- In HR Management, navigate to Employee Information and pull up employee experiencing the error message.
- Open the Earnings tab and locate the row with the Earnings Code used as the Wage Code for the Leave Entry.
- In the Leave Entry column, check the box then click Save in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
- Log out of EWS and then log back in and create/save the Leave Entry.
