Symptom

When saving a Leave Entry in EWS, the user receives an error message stating that the entry is incomplete and missing a Wage code although a wage code was selected in the dropdown menu.

 

Cause

The earnings/wage code in the Employee Information is not selected for use with Leave entries.

Resolution
  1. In HR Management, navigate to Employee Information and pull up employee experiencing the error message.

  1. Open the Earnings tab and locate the row with the Earnings Code used as the Wage Code for the Leave Entry.
  2. In the Leave Entry column, check the box then click Save in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

  1. Log out of EWS and then log back in and create/save the Leave Entry.
